You like food? You like technology? Well now, you can have a mix of both! Recent technological breakthroughs have been made in order for a printer to print out food. Chefjet recently unveiled their latest discovery in Las Vegas, Nevada featuring a food printer that can produce chocolate and sugar-based delights in shapes that are difficult to create using traditional ways. The model costing at around $5000 can create monochrome creations while its other version the Chefjet Pro allows the creation of multicolored treats. In order to create these objects, the process includes a step by step method which prints the food layer by layer of sugar. The food is designed using software to create the desired shape. A Digital Cookbook will also be released to aid people who are not used to computer-aided design to make the treats. Other models of the Chefjet printer will also be released including a model that will cost $10,000 which can print ceramics and another that costs $5000 that can print multicolored plastic objects. Other companies have also invested in the research of this 3D printer including NASA so that their astronauts can use it in outer space.
